Emma: You are a fun aunt. I haven't seen you in
years but I miss you. I loved all the stories you used
to tell us when we were little. And you were mean to
me when I was younger. I think you fed me dried dog
poop once. I hope I'm making that up...

320/365

Dennis:You can be grumpy and sort of
intimidating at times... but I think you're
a good guy. It'll be sad when you leave BST,
to hang out, or whatever it is you're doing,
but you'll be missed. I remember nicknaming
you "Hurricane Dennis" and it was very appropriate.

Mr. Papp: You were a fun history teacher. You had all
sorts of awesome posters in your classroom ranging from
Bob Marley to Support Organic Farmers to a Zoot Suit movie
poster. You were always pretty cool... thanks.

Bernadette: You're one of my fave aunts, even though
we don't see eachother that often. You have gone thru so
much in your life. I think breast cancer being the toughest.
But, you're still here and you're still going strong... word.

323/365

Adam B.: I met you one night while I was bartending
and thought you were pretty cute so I bought you a shot...
it worked because you came back to my work later that night
and took me to the Frontier in your cool, old black cadillac
convertible. I think I liked you because you were not from NM
and you had a twangy accent, which I liked. You seemed nice
enough in the beginning, but then you started coming on really
strong and that was a MAJOR turn off. I mean, you'd come over
unannounced- SOMETHING I HATE ABOUT ANYONE- take your
shoes and socks off when you entered my apt., after stopping
by unannounced and you tried to be best friends with all my
friends. Then, when I told you things weren't going to work
out because I was (and still am VERY much) in love with someone
else, you tried becoming HIS friend. Even after I told you
this, you'd still stop by my work and call me and altogether
just creep me out. Then, finally, the last straw, you hooked
up with one of my friends and there was NO way I was ever going
to go out or even talk to you again. You ended up moving back
to NC, and the last I heard from you was in an email inquiring
about my relationship and I never replied. You were the first
and last person I'd ever been with that wasn't circumsized.

324/365

Leon: You were a smelly rocker, but you were nice and
gave us free food. And, occasionally, you even bought us
liquor. You had a major crush on Kiera and stopped giving
us free stuff when you knew she wasn't going to date you.
Last time I saw you was at the 'Pad and you cut your hair!

325/365

Dave Matthews: I was so in love with you and your music
for like 5 years. I had/have almost all your albums and I
listened to them obsessively. I made it a point to see you
live (and for free) as much as possible. And then one glorious
day in Denver, Amanda and I got to meet you and take a pic with
you! We were in town to see you the next night, so it was such
a treat to run into you at the amusement park! You had no idea,
but after our picture, we followed you around for a while... like
stalkers. I still like your older stuff, new muscic, not so much.

326/365

Celeste: We were best friends throughout middle school and
we drifted apart once we got to high school. We used to love
to dress the same and we had our New Kids on the Block boyfriends,
Donnie and Jordan. We loved to hang at the mall and talk to older
boys... and lie about our ages. Good times.

327/365

Mrs. Benia: You were one of my favorite teachers. Your
art class was so fun and inspiring! And you let us smoke
cigarettes outside your classroom. You were very pretty
for an older woman... heck, you married an ex student. A
hot one at that. The last time I saw you was when I worked
at Seasons and you were tipsy off of wine. You were still
as gorgeous as ever.

328/365

Marie: We worked together at Quarters... it was fun!
We also played soccer together for a while, even though
you were 100 times better and faster than me. You and I
also went snowboarding together once - THAT I was better at.
You liked to drink it up even though your dad was super
strict.

28 December 2007

329/365

Benny: I remember you being unintentionally funny when
you were younger... the last time we hung out was a few years
ago when the family went camping together in Taos. We hung out
and talked about being little... that was fun. You're out in
California now, hope you're doing well!

330/365

Sasha: Remember we had that drama class together?
That's when we became close and laughed our asses off.
Our New Orleans trip was such a blast... there are so
many hilarious pictures of that week. And I loved our
house on Sunset together. How many parties do you think
we had? And how much money do you think we made? Good times.
I'm glad we still (sort of) keep in touch!

21 December 2007

331/365

Dave E.: I loved hanging out in school... you were so
funny and nice! And you had a really cool bedroom that
everyone liked to chill in. You took Linda and I to see
Pearl Jam and it was a blast! We had Zima beforehand...
we were crazy! There were plenty of times we hung out, but
that was a good time. I still see you from time to time and
you're still as cool to me as ever.

332/365

Rudy: You were my 1st boyfriend... in the 4th grade.
We liked eachother instantly and didn't actually kiss
until the 7th grade. We used to hold hands and that was
nervewracking enough! After middle school, I never saw
you again. You did call my sister one night about 4 years
ago... she didn't mind since you were just asking how I was.

20 December 2007

333/365

Connie/Constantine: For being loaded, you have bad body odor.
And you were really intimidating... but you were nice
to me. You'd bring me Hot Lays from the package store
and you sold us inexpensive kegs after we turned 21. We
still frequent your restaurant and I see you from time
to time. You look and smell the same.

334/365

Mike B: You are so fun! Remember when you told everyone
I tried "militantly" to hook up with you and I called you on it
'cause it was a lie? Good times. It was fun working with you at
Burt's. And I really liked it when you put us on "the list" for
shows such as the Strokes, Reverend Horton Heat, Flaming Lips and
tons of other shows. The last time we hung out was at the Neko show -
before and after. You're probably on tour right now with Jared Leto
or something. See you soon.

17 December 2007

335/365

Bree: We weren't really friends in school, you seemed
a little weird. But, I got to know you in New Orleans
(thanks for letting all 6 of us stay in your little apt.
in the quarter!) and we all a blast! And "BIG ASS BEERS"!
That was a fun experience, that Mardi Gras. Thanks again
for being a sweet, drunken hostess.

336/365

Frances: You were my grandma. When I was little and
my mom took you to get your hair done downtown, you'd
always give me quarters... back then, that was a big deal.
And you always wore red lipstick and red nail polish. I
always wanted to wear your rings and other pieces of jewelry,
they were so pretty and big! And at Christmas time, you'd
stuff our stockings with treats like candy, oranges and
walnuts. I miss you... the last time I saw you was at
your funeral.

12 December 2007

337/365

Lori G: How I love you, let me count the ways.
You are a genuinely sweet and caring person.
It's also a little funny when you get mad and
cuss because it's sooo rare! We've been to
Hawaii together 3 times for work and I'll quit
if that changes. Don't even get me started on
Nancy and her toenails. When Craig was sick, you
listened and were there for me without judgement...
I appreciate that so much. And then there's that
sweet little baby boy that you call Mathias. MJ.
GrennenBarrett. I love him. You're such a good mom,
he's a very lucky boy. And don't let me give
directions after a Beck show and many glasses
of wine. It'll get you nowhere and get me blisters.

338/365

Carlos: I barely remember you... we were really young
when we hung out at Caroline's. It was so sad when you
died because you were just a kid. It's still hard to
believe you and Daniel were only 11 or 12yrs. that
horrible day you were playing with that gun and it
went off. Such a flippin' shame.
